Alfred H. Chan, Esq.
Mr. Chan is an attorney and principal of A.H. CHAN LAW FIRM, PC, where he practices a broad spectrum of commercial litigation and transaction, employment and labor law, and intellectual property law. Mr. Chan also represents clients in personal injury and family law matters.
As a litigator, Mr. Chan has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels. He has handled numerous cases involving business disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secret, trademark and copyright infringement cases, real estate, construction contract disputes, labor and employment, and general litigation.
As a business lawyer, Mr. Chan regularly consults and advises domestic and international entrepreneurs and business organizations in a wide range of industries, including technology, online gaming, e-commerce, software, restaurants, automobile dealers, apparel, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, import and export companies, real estate developers, general contractors, and property management companies.
Mr. Chan also maintains a pro bono practice, regularly taking referrals from local legal aids.
Mr. Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier Law School, where he was a member of the Whittier Law Review and fulfilled the academic requirements of the Center for Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Chan is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central District of California, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and Supreme Court of the State of California.
